RUNS IN THE FAMILY
Masterpiece has quite the family tree. A cross of Cap Junky x Platinum, our latest indica-leaning hybrid brings modern cannabis genetics and old-school kush character into the same branch. From its towering colas to its richly layered aroma, there’s plenty of personality in the family.
In our hybrid greenhouse, it grows exceptionally tall, spirals skyward and creates dramatic rows. Near harvest, its towering colas sparkle with a generous frosting of resinous trichomes. Once dried and cured, the finished buds show off olive-green hues threaded with rust-orange hairs.
CROSS EXAMINATION
Cap Junky brings the more eccentric side of the family: jammy fruit and new-school funk, with plenty of aromatic intensity. Platinum has a deeper, more savoury character. Classic Kush, pepper and gas give it an old-school sensibility, with an umami richness that makes for an interesting pairing for all that fruit.
In Masterpiece, those family traits find their own expression. Cherry jam leads on the nose, followed by a rich diesel backbone and a lingering savoury finish. There’s definitely a family resemblance, but plenty of personality of its own.
Limonene, caryophyllene and linalool feature prominently in its terpene profile. Alongside the jam and diesel, sweet, sour, peppery and herbal nuance gives a lot to unpack. Good luck keeping your nose out of the bag.

A good family name gets our attention, but what matters is how the cultivar performs in our hybrid greenhouse. Masterpiece brings the aromatic intensity, resinous flower and distinctive character we look for. Our job is to give those qualities the hands-on care they deserve.
After harvest, we hang-dry, hand-manicure and slow-cure Masterpiece for four weeks, letting moisture even out while carefully protecting its trichomes and profile. Then we hand-package it with a humidity pack to help maintain moisture in the finished flower.
